Justin Haley RHP Fresno State

Damian Carroll

Michael Roth

Matt Garrioch said...

Haley is on my list to research.

Carroll is just coming on my radar. Big arm this spring.

Roth is a hell of a college pitcher but not a great pro prospect.

I'm not seeing Andre Angel-Bello C or Brian Mundell C?

Matt Garrioch said...

Both could be on the list. That is the problem with going this deep is you always miss guys who could be right there with them.

Anonymous said...

jeremy kivel rawlings all american.

Anonymous said...

Among California full time Catchers having played 24 in season high school games or greater, Andre Angel-Bello has the 3rd highest BA in the state, 44th in the country and would be among the top 3 HS catchers referenced above.

Matt Garrioch said...

Kivel is moving up boards. Mid 100's on my draft board currently.

What about Rick Clough, he is probably the most dominant pitcher ever!!!

Anonymous said...

Houser HS Catcher from SC, best body, best arm, great receiver with 20 hr power from both sides.

Anonymous said...

Have heard some scouts say they really Like Garcia SS from Mizzou possible top ten rounds for him. Great arm and range, bat has upside with some surprise pop.

Matt Garrioch said...

Never heard of Clough.
Garcia is a good defender. Not sure about the bat.
Houser is a name worth knowing. Could end up at Tennessee where he could help a struggling program.

Some midwest scouts are talking about young player Ryan Fitzgerald; great arm, range, speed

Anonymous said...

Some talk of a big lefty that went in the 25th round in 2011 draft from Azusa Pacific University in California, Michael Finnigan. Low to mid 90's with some nice off speed.

Ryan Dineen JR Eastern ILL. Should be on this list. Summer league and 2012 seasons he has shown he can hit for avg. And his power numbers increased. They have him playing SS, but 2nd base is his best position.

what bout Ryan Scarpetta

Jon said...

no disrespect as I acknowledge your site and effort you put into it however damien carol are mentioned above is def a high level prospect. kid runs it up to 95 and is a lock to go 2nd-4th round. some of these kids won't see inside the first 10 rounds let alone first 5

Matt Garrioch said...

I agree Carroll is in that range now. He is a quick riser this spring.

Hi

What you think about Danny Bermudez who is committed to Western Carolina University?, You think you can enter the MLB Draft of 2012?

Thank you

I think you have the Dishmond kid way too low. 6'5'' and hits for high average and a ton of power to all fields, can play 1st base with the best. I saw him play ball with Corey Seager and was a savior for a ton of errant throws by his entire infield and he went and got them and got back on the bag to record the outs.
