2013 MLB Draft: Central Region Report

1. Sean Manaea, P, JR, 40/60: Big arm up to 97 with a knockout slider at times. Dominant when on. Has had hip issue all spring.
2. Ryan Boldt, OF, HS, 35/60: All around well balanced player with no true elite tools. Slashing swing that is geared for ripping line drives.
3. Jake Brentz, P, SR, 35/60: Fast riser with mid 90's fastball. Touched 97. Good athlete with fresh arm.
4. Trey Ball, OF, HS, 35/60: Great athlete. Higher ceiling on the mound but power projetion as an outfielder is impressive.
5. Devin Williams, P, HS, 35/60: long, loose and easy delivery. Breaking ball is ok. Shows a change.

6. Tom Windle, P, JR, 45/50: Polished mid to back of the rotation guy. Good slider, change. Low 90's fastball but no out pitch.
7. Clinton Hollon, P, HS, 25/60: Erratic due to various injuries over the last year. Can throw upper 90's when on. Atheltic. Could be much higer than this.
8. Eric Jagielo, OF, JR, 35/50: very good power potential. Not sold o nthe hit tool or if he can stick at 3b.
9. Logan Shore, P, HS, 30/55: peaks at 92. Average secondary's. Minor adjustments to delivery could help stuff play up.
10. Michael O'Neill, OF, JR, 35/50: good all around talent with no elite tools. Plays under his tools a lot. Needs refinement.
11. A.J. Puk, P, HS, 30/50: tall lefty, kinda awkward. Big potential.
