Some opening day lines

Ike Davis had 3 hits and 2 doubles in AAA, making it look like he should have broke camp with the Mets.

Carlos Santana broke loose with 2 Home Runs and 4 RBI in 5 AB.

Buster Posey and Mike Stanton each had 3 hits, with Stanton going deep for the first of many this season.

Kentrail Davis had 2 hits and an RBI in his professional debut.

Starlin Castro, Adam Milligan, Jose Iglesias, Cedric Hunter, and Todd Frazier had a couple hits each. Tyler Flowers and Dennis Raben did also, with a HR each.

Justin Smoak and Pedro Alvarez both went deep.

Ben Revere didn't continue his hot spring with 3 K's.

Kyle Gibson had an unusual day. He pitched 3.2 IP, gave up 6 hits, including 2 HR's and K'd 7. One of the HR's was by Robbie Grossman, a 2008 over slot signing by the Pirates. He could have a very good season in the FSL this year.

Kyle Drabek struck out 8 and walked 2 in 5 IP.

Jeremy Hellickson and Jhoulys Chacin both K'd 6 and BB'd 1 in 5 IP.

Aaron Crow struggled walking 3 and striking out 2 in 4.2 IP but only gave up one run.

Christian Friedrich went 6 innings and K'd 5 and BB'd 2 giving up 4 hits and only one run.

Christian Garcia for the Yankees went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 hits, walking 1 and striking out 3. He could have a great season if he can just STAY HEALTHY.
